Don't bother. *At least* almost every time you open Chrome, this app creates a spam popup (sometimes more than one) that either says "You're using an outdated Chrome!" or "Check out what's new with us!" There's no transparent way to disable this. Besides that, it does what it says...and maybe more: it tries to bundle with other apps when it installs; it throws non-consensual popups with unnecessary links; and *it's proprietary so it may be collecting your data*. Overall, it's clunky, opaque, and a heavy drag on your browsing experience to be worth anything. If you want the functionality of this app without the sketchiness, get *Turn Off the Lights*. It even works on sites besides YouTube. If you want to block ads, I recommend AdBlock and Ghostery.

Love the actual extension, however they decided to start throwing popup adds for another extension every time chrome is opened

Used to be an amazing piece of software. Now misleads the user into installing additional extensions, tactics scammers and fraudsters use. Plenty of other options that do the same thing, so give this one a pass.

Pop up for chrome updates is not necessary and should be removed. Works great otherwise.

Extension works well, but the developer has decided to include a misleading pop-up telling the user they're running an outdated version of Chrome. Because Google updates Chrome without asking you, that is impossible. Developer has become a spammer and is being reported to Google as such.

Did the guy who made this sell it off to some scummy company? Is that why its annoying with pop-ups now asking me to update Chrome when mine is already up to date? Hopefully another comes along to make something good like this used to be. And then that one will get ruined, and the cycle will continue...
