UPDATE FEB 2021: it seems that an issue is causing the page of a youtube channel's videos to go blank. with the new update they added a "play icon", when the video is paused, which is annoying and i dont know how to remove it.(it seems that there is no option for it)

Neither stop autoplay nor auto wide works properly now. I need to reload a page, sometimes a couple of times for it to take effect. And it would be faster to just pause a video and click the theater mode button instead. So this extension is completely pointless for me at the moment

Other reviews mentioning the spammy pop up ads are true. I've been seeing them for months and always ignored them, thinking that they were genuinely from Google. Mostly because I've neglected to promptly update Chrome the last few update cycles. I noticed that the popups persisted even after I'd updated Chrome and today I figured out that they came from this extension. I've used this extension loyally for years. It saddens me to have to give it such a low review and uninstall it.

Pop ups telling you to update chrome through their link, while my chrome is already updated. Along with dozens of repeated reviews on here, there is clearly something shady going on here.
