8/02/18 Great tool! I've been using it for about a year. No complaints at all. 11/16/18 After reading some of the latest reviews, I feel compelled to add I have not experienced any pop ups. I use a malware detector/scan. It has not found anything. Also, I haven't noticed any apps being added without my permission. 12/26/18 Seriously? It's been over a month and people are still posting fake reviews? It's an app, people. Post your experience with it and move on. That is, if you have experience with it. All this drama isn't necessary. If they are doing something malicious, eventually it will come to light on its own. FWIW, I still haven't experienced any of these pop ups, spyware, and such. I don't mind an occasional reminder to update my browser, though. I think its getting to the point proof is needed. So, here is a challenge. Someone who feels their computer has been infected by this add on should run a Malwarebytes scan and post the results.You can post the report here or post it at the Malwarebytes forum and post a link here. Oh and, it is very easy to determine if the scan report is real or fake. Let's see if anyone takes this challenge.

Another reviewer says something regarding malicious changes. I think one good example is how I try to keep my PC as perfectly clean as possible by limiting my installations to things that pass verification and review, and yet I just got a popup informing me that I was using an outdated version of chrome and all dressed up with the "danger! danger!" motif. Just so happens that the taskbar of this popup holds an icon that matches this extension. This will be removed and reported immediately.

Was a useful plugin, but is no longer worth dealing with popups, potential bloatware/malware, and DESKTOP notifications! Apps like these should be SILENT.

Used to be very good, but now they made malicious changes and use lots of fake reviews on their extension to hide it. They also use bots to hide criticism like this and to bomb competitors. Don't support this extension.

Super Erweiterung. Manchmal funktioniert der cinema-mode nicht richtig aber dann kommt meist zeitnah ein update und dann funktioniert alles. Pflicht für jeden der viel Youtube Videos schaut!
