BlockTube gives you the control to customize your YouTube viewing experience. It allows you to block specific channels and videos that you don't wish to see or get recommended with.

The extension is lightweight and fast, integrated seamlessly and does not affect your browsing experience at all, to an extent that an unsuspecting user will never know it's there to begin with.

2025.10.06현재 몇 주 전부터 구글의 확장 차단이 시작되어 이제 block 관련 확장은 거의 다 차단된 듯 ㅠㅠ

The extension doesn't work as expected. I blocked a channel, refreshed the page, and the blocked channel still appeared. I repeated the process several times, but the channel continued to show up. It only stopped appearing after I clicked the "Don't Recommend Channel" button. If you're downloading this extension for features other than the channel blocker, such as the blocked message feature, it’s worth noting that it's a great add-on. However, if you're specifically looking for a reliable channel blocker, I would not recommend this extension.

It does not work properly anymore. Can't block shorts now, so this extenssion became useless for me :(

Problema con aviso insistente de: "Los bloqueadores de anuncios incumplen las Condiciones del Servicio de YouTube..." Probé desactivar otras extensiones o scripts, y aún mostraba el mensaje. Del resto no he tenido problemas con el bloqueo de canales, videos, etc... EN: Problem with insistent warning: “Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service...” I tried disabling other extensions or scripts, and it still displayed the message. Otherwise I had no problems with blocking channels, videos, etc....

Blocked Channels are still visible in ANY browser plus Youtube Master does absolutely nothing.

全く興味のない動画のチャンネルを消すことが出来て最高、動画だけとか諸々細かく消せる おすすめ 新追記 blocktubeさんのgithubのサイトでblocktube0.4.5がlatestで出ています、手動でインストールで問題なくブロック出来ています いずれこちらでも更新されると思いますが、急ぎの方はどうぞ 追記 またYouTubeの仕様変更？によりメニューからブロック出来なくなりました、2024年12月2日以降くらいから出来なくなった？ 手動でのブロックは有効なのでチャンネルを消したい人はYouTube ID 変換 抽出サイトでUC***に変換してからchannel IDに登録して 下のSAVEを押せば消せます、面倒なので早く直していただければ幸いです、よろしくお願いいたします

Contextmenu without "block video" & "block channel" when opening the short, which is quite inconvenient. Please fix this issue.
