Like the idea and search function but messes with my gmail page and the whitelist option is not working so I had to unistall.
Promising idea, but it breaks so many things that it is not currently worth putting up with it. I'll keep it installed but disabled.
Would've kept it if it didn`t change the Detaulf Search Engine without choice. I do many searches on non-english languages and DuckDuckGo doesn't give me the best results.
Deletes image search from rightclick menu, no option to get it back other to reset whole browser.
Keep do, whatever you are doing... we fully support you. #PrivacyFirst
I think people are missing the fact this is a DuckDuckGo extension. Only install if you want to search with DuckDuckGo DUH! People are thinking this is just a Privacy tracker Extension. I have used it for years now and Love it. Also with new Privacy Tracking features it is even better.My 1 and only complaint is when I go to sites the letter grade icon turns to a very light gray and I can barely see it!
Deleted this extension seconds after learning that it changes the default search engine. Read the reviews and others feel the same way. I will redownload this app the second that I can use my preferred search engine and will recommend it to my friends. Until then, ✌🏽
The idea is good, but this extension slows down loading Google Maps tiles significantly :( Blocking trackers can be achieved with other extensions too which do not slow down using Google Maps.
I've been using ddg for years as an additional layer of privacy and its amazing !bang commands. Until privacy essentials came out I did not use the extensions but am glad I finally decided to install it. Nice work ddg. Sidebar, I have to agree with a lot of the newer reviews. This should have been released as a separate extension as to not affect the original experience.
