don't install extensions on my browser without my permission duckducksketchy NOT COOL
It looks like you changed the purpose of the software in an update. My trust is gone for good.
I used to use DDG search since a long time ago, but I dont like this new update that allows this plugin to "read and change all data on all webpages you visit"... That is to scary and

Really liked the Duck Duck Go search extension but started Chrome up this morning and I have this new Privacy Essentials installed. No warning, just installed... Uninstalling
Blocks major TV networks from playing video, utter garbage.

Seriously? Privacy essentials? Do you hate your success?
I was enjoying this extension because it was unobtrusive, compact, and functional. Then suddenly it turned into A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT EXTENSION. I wanted a little DuckDuckGo search button on my toolbar. I did NOT install a "privacy essentials" extension. This kind of bait and switch is sketchy, guys. Don't do it. I already have the EFF's Privacy Badger extension, I don't need DDG to shove their own version down my throat without asking. Uninstalled.
I was using this for Duckgo search, but the new privacy essentials update causes a conflict with Disconnect, which I use for privacy / tracking. I now can't run both extensions, so I'm going to have to disable this for now.
