и правда все кто не терпит белый фон вам сюда пользуюсь не всегда но когда ооочень надо и на фон белый смотреть совсем не хочется не заменим для долгих работ на чёрном фоне работает в принципе прекрасно всем советую! and it’s true that for everyone who can’t stand a white background, I don’t always use it here, but when it’s really necessary and you don’t want to look at a white background at all, it’s not replaceable for long-term work on a black background, it works in principle perfectly, I recommend it to everyone!

This extension used to be good but lately is has completely crashed. It seems as though the init is the css way too late or something. Most websites flashes in black before they turn back and sometimes it doesn't work at all.

It worked for me initially, but recently it not only stopped but I no longer trust it as it started producing intrusive ads. I had to run multiple scans to check if there was adware/malware on my computer as something kept adding ads to the top of Google searches and pushing the genuine results down the page, and I've only ever seen those types of ads when my device was infected. Through inspection I managed to track it down to this extension, and once removed I no longer get those intrusive ads and my laptop is a lot faster

One of the updates over the past few months seemed to have broken this extension for some websites. There are websites where boxes appear grayed out or sometimes obfuscate whatever is underneath is. Awkward gray boxes almost everywhere, most of the time it's still readable, but sometimes it destroys the site. One of my personal websites is like that. This plugin looked fine on my website months ago; now there are big gray boxes over text sections, covering the background beneath the text. Another example is a site I purchase software from. It's an extreme example, but it completely blocks out entire sections of the site. I've used this extension for years and never had this issue until recently! A less extreme example is youtube - gray rectangular boxes surrounding the comments. It's still readable, but these gray boxes destroy other websites. Hopefully the devs read my review. For those who notice this, try the "Dark Mode - Dark Reader for Chrome" plugin. No awkward gray boxes and dysfunctional websites with that extension.
