This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

I enjoyed it and I like dark mode on everything but the only problem was I couldn't use white in my projects which wasn't helpful when I was typing text, so I had to turn the extension off just to see but then I wouldn't have dark mode.

Best dark-mode extension I've tried so far, I enjoy the settings and that you can toggle it on or off for specific websites. However, I've noticed that it makes some websites load slower, and it becomes annoying having to turn it on and off so the website will load.

I'm still using Windows 7 Ultimate and NONE of my Chrome based browsers will update unless I'm using at least Windows 10 now. This Dark Web Page Extension is working PERFECTLY!! I tried about 10 or so others and none of them would show me uniform AD boxes or Side Menus. They would be either too big or too small and then there would be areas that would not go dark. I almost gave up, I had tried the OTHER Dark Reader just before trying this one and it too was horrible. THIS however is exactly what I was looking for. Another WIN for OPEN SOURCE Applications caring programmers who share. THANK YOU!!
