This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

INCREDIBLE. I tested out so many dark mode extensions for Chrome and this is by far the best. It does not invert colors, it does not block out buttons or contrasts in a way that makes it impossible to see details. I am so impressed.

Been using this for a while and it's pretty good at default settings for any site except for Google Sheets, so far. The way it inverts colors in a spreadsheet or a document is a little annoying to deal with I'm not too sure how I would go about fixing it aside from I guess, if a color is already dark, leave it as is, maybe?

Been using Dark Reader for quite a long time, and I like it. Is it me but the fonts colours settings have been removed? Am I missing something here? That was my favourite feature. Fantastic when it works. The I go back to the tab and have to reload again to get the dark mode back. Constantly, unendingly. Does not for a pleasant experience make. again WONDERFUL... when it works. But don't expect to set it and forget it b/c you can not rely on it. Bright white screens to blind you as you reload yet again is the experience I have.
