This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

the best out there. what more do u need?

Absolutely lovely app, however, an issue has popped up recently. As I have labs enabled on chrome, the AI assisted search result is blindingly bright now. I've used the extension before with the labs feature turned on, but it didn't have an issue and it was dark like all the other sites. But now, it isn't working like it used to and it looks hideous. Looking forward to a fix. EDIT: Just removed the extension and reinstalled it. Now it works, but before it had a nice glowing accent color for the AI result, which is completely gone now, but it's not terrible.

Turns out this is the extension that is causing all the drag on my browser. Disabled it and everything sped up instantly.
