I don't usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to write one for this extension. Dark Reader is, in my experience, far better than any other third-party "dark-mode" web-extension that I have tried. It works in such a simple yet elegant way. In darkreader.org's own words, "Dark Reader inverts bright colors, making them high contrast and easy to read at night." Dark Reader is not perfect, it does create some problems on some web-pages, such as making the color of the font in the DM feature on Canvas/instructure.com a very dim light gray. But it creates far fewer problems, far less of the time than other extensions for Chrome that I've tried that do a similar thing. I also appreciate the automation and selectivity one has when deciding which web-sites this extension affects. Other extensions also do this, but Dark Reader makes it particularly easy by putting those buttons at the top of the extension's click menu; no external webpage, and an instant change after pressing the button, of which there are only two by the way, and they are clearly labeled in an easy-to-understand way, do exactly what they say, and I also don't feel the need for more options (You know, that feeling when you feel the UI is a bit TOO simple?). And to top it all off, it's fully open-source with nothing to hide, and that is advertised, including a direct link to its GitHub page, in its Chrome Web Store description box. Thank you darkreader.org for a fantastic extension.

Descanza la vista al solamente resaltar el texto en diferentes colores. Solamente tiene un detalle que la pestaña del sitio donde estás no es lo suficientemente diferente del resto de pestañas para saber exactamente donde estás. De cualquier manera es excelente.

I literally tracked down the review page just so I could leave this review: Dark Reader is a must have for any browsing needs, it saves not only on your eye sight, it saves on energy costs from using less white light. It's easy to use and is far more superior than any other "dark mode extension" on the market (which often just makes everything black and/or unreadable). 11/10 I would always recommend Dark Reader to everyone, be it my grandmother, the casual browser user or the hardcore gamer. If you want any kind of forced darkmode that still leaves visibility and ease of use, this is for you.

Es justamente lo que estaba buscando, es la primera vez que comento una extensión pero realmente merece muchisimo la pena porque es justo el modo oscuro perfecto, el resto de extensiones no te ponen en el pc el modo oscuro de android. 10/10

I don't know what changed recently, but Dark Readers ability to darken in a nice way has gone. I have to disable it on almost every site now. Using Dynamic mode like I always have. Which was always the smart mode. now it's just as clumsy as the other modes. Previously, I found that I had to disable DR on about 1% of sites. Now it's more like 99%.
