This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

its great, only a few sites, like chromestore for instance, dont seem to switch to dark mode but its fine for most of the others, great work devs

Does it's job really well. Hard to live without. But I noticed some web pages load significantly slower with this extension enabled.

i have a very rare eye disease condition and i cant look directly at most lights even if its dense/low doesnt matter and & i literally have to wear sunglasses nearly all the time whenever i go outside because my condition is that intense just because out of all this (i know some can relate) this app feels like a heaven to me... ITS LITERALLY THE GREATEST NICHE APP EVER MADE BRU its so cool to see somebody just made an app that has great benefits for people with eye related medical conditions (even if they didnt intended to do it that way i still thank anyways) a very deeply personal app love ya byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I've been using this extension for a while and it is amazing, the only thing that I'm having trouble with is the google ai results. It doesn't get the coloring right, shows up as hard to read with same color text.
