This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Lo uso a diario. Imprescindible para cuidar la vista.
Inconsistent, used mostly in google docs in which it made the text harder to read than a regular dark mode application, it seemed like the text font was slightly cropped along the outside, could be do to anti-aliasing or other issues. The addon didn't always work well, in google docs the page turned orange, whilst outside of it the window was black. In another docs window the page was black and the outside of it white.

Great extension for desktop, use it for everything. I like being able to switch it off for specific sites if it renders wrong.
Works perfectly, unlike many others.
Downright awesome. The dynamic mode works well for most sites, some sites might require to switch to another mode. Plus, it's open source. A keeper.

Love the idea on making this kind of extension. This will help a lot of people, who have problems on reading
on almost all sites it works like a charm, but I hate that it converts png background to black, making text unreadable
So far so good. Downloaded it for google calendar use.
