This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

This extension does an awesome job at generating dark themes! It looks in every nook and cranny, (even the tricky places) and makes the web much easier to read as a result. I'm a major fan of dark desktop themes, and this completes it!!

This has to be one of the best extensions I have ever come across in Chrome. It works perfectly on so many web apps and websites! To name a few: Jira, GitHub, Google Docs/Sheets, Medium, Trello, Twitter, Google, Drive, Reddit, Office365. You're able to tweak each domain/website to fit your needs as well. On top of all of this eye saving goodness; the developer offers it for free. No intrusive ads, no limitations, just a simple "donate" button at the bottom of the extension that is mixed in with the other buttons. I am cheap, but I just had to donate to the dev behind this app because it will honestly make my personal and work life easier.
