This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

A great extension, works well on pretty much everything.
very nice
Great when it works, and it usually does work. However, some sites inject their own style after Dark Reader and thereby disable it. For example, dictionary.com loads in Dark Reader style for a fraction of a second before the site switches the theme back to a light theme. This is undoubtedly caused by dictionary.com's scripting shenanigans, but even so it would be nice if Dark Reader was able to compensate and produce a dark theme even on badly-behaved sites. Edit: this problem seems to only occur in Dynamic mode. Switching to Static solves the issue I was having!
My god. This has to be one of the best extensions I've ever used. I've been telling all my friends about it. Seriously awesome. Just a side note, it is kinda ironic it doesn't seem to work on the Chrome extension store. No worries though, it works pretty much everywhere else.
Εξαιρετικο!!!
