This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Thanks for this app, it is amazing! But recently I found that all *.google.com sites are not reversed (other sites are reversed as usual). I tried different settings like filter+, static, dynamic. But none of them work. Is this because the chrome update or anything? Thanks for the help!

I prefer dark mode for most sites because it is so much easier on the eyes, but relatively few sites have made it an option yet, and those that do may not do it quite right, with no options for adjusting it. This extension is wonderful and my eyes are thankful for it!

C'est exactement ce que je cherchais et il est possible de modifier si on veut que le noir soit profondément noir ou bien si on veut qu'il soit plutôt gris. C'est exactement ce que je voulais merci beaucoup !

I do a lot of programming and switching between my black IDE's and white websites/pdfs on chrome was a pain. Thanks for saving my eyes!

после закрытия браузера всё становится обычным белым. хотя в настройках выставлено как чёрное... upd. смены режимов не убирают проблему. помогает обновить страницу. причём настройки не работают только при открытии браузера, в другой вкладке открывается уже нормально..... протестировал на 3-сайтах. на одном работает, на двух других нет
