This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Excellent. A must-have for every office worker in the world. The darker designs this extenstion provides should be absolutely obligatory across the internet. Until then, we have this extension.

Aynı tarzda pek çok uygulama denedim, mükemmel olmasa da en iyisi bu. Çoğunlukla imajların renklerini ters çeviriyorlar, kozmetik bozulmalar oluyor. Bu ise aralarında en az bozulmaya sebep olan eklenti bence. The program must be turned off by default on all web sites. Whichever site we serve, we should be able to open it on that site.

Epitome of a great open source extension on chrome. One of the best UX and well executed work. It's not perfect - but tools are at user's disposal to improve and customize to one's needs. Have not used support yet but looks like an active community.

This extension is really nice, but I would like an option to enable the dark reader on iframe, by example on Gmail there is still a white Google Hangout popping on the left. An option to edit the contrast for a specific website would be amazing too, because it's too dark on google, and if I change the contrast it become too bright on facebook, so a Global Contrast + a website specific contrast can be a really great option. Also I can't enable it on the Chrome Web Store, so it will probably not work on some others websites ? but I don't have used it enought to know, and the dev tool is a great addition to fix the websites who are not working.
