This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Very good. One site I found that was bugged in developer tools is medium.com. Here's how it was when I installed: { "url": "medium.com", "noinvert": ".canvas-renderer" }, Now remove the '.' before 'canvas'. { "url": "medium.com", "noinvert": "canvas-renderer" }, And it works. Thanks dev for your work :)

Tried a couple of these kinds of screen darkening plugins, and I began to realize how difficult it is to do this right. While there are still some scripted pages where inversion would not work correctly--it either won't invert the text colors or just inverted the images as well--this plugin so far had worked more consistently and desirably across more pages. Furthermore, there are also quite a few options with regards to reducing contrast and warming up screen temperatures, etc. I don't use them much since I'm just too lazy to configure, but as it is out of the box, the inversion alone helped reducing eye strain a lot. And also the quick on/off site specific switch also helps when it doesn't work right. I appreciate how well it works so far.

Awesome! I have one request could you add option "exeption"? When i open sites such as Nexus, Mal where theme is already black it start to rape my eyes.
