This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

It is perfect on the function of visual effect but it is not smooth and sometimes on some specific pages it is very rough(Scroll Animation) while pressing key "PageDown" to scroll.Can you fix it?

such a powerful tool to turn page into dark background and what is more it provide so many options. It's better than the paided one

Just perfect it's exactly what I wanted . It dim the screen but not like other addons with text or background color issue . keep it up . Edit : It's actually slowing browsing and dropping fps, especially when browsing facebook gets really heavy after scrolling down a bit , took me a while to figure out that dark reader causing the issue. can't use it anymore hope they do something about it .

This app is really awesome. I read a ton of documentation for my job as a developer and most pages are black text on a stark white background which really strains my eyes. This app really helps with reducing the strain on my eyes. Thank you for making this.

Fantastic! I have been looking for something like this for years. Some pictures are inverted accidentally, but this is mostly die to the wide variety of css and html styles. You can't account for everything. Best Chrome app ever!

Love the layout and how the sites look. But its makes my comp slow when I have it activated on twitch. I feel the lag when I am typing this. No lag when I away from twitch. Any way to fix this?

Didn't expect find such an application. It great! But on some sites (like vk.com) inverts pictures. Hope there'll be setting for turning it off.
