This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.

Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.

This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

Thanks, Alexander. It's exactly what I was looking for. Luminous pages now go much easier on my eyes. I find the extension really easy to use with the configurable shortcut keys, and so far I haven't seen any performance issue as other people said. Only in a very few pages text becomes barely readable as it takes a similar colour to the background, and WhatsApp Web is unusable, but adding those sites to the list of those that won't be inverted "solves" it. I simply love the extension. Thanks again. =)

Works in most of the web pages perfectly. In some web pages the dark theme goes bezerk; like Whatsapp Web. Please fix this! Love this sweet lil extension though!

I like this though I think it should get some more options as well as an option to leave images as they normally would be also when on Facebook Pictures/Images seem to have like this white tint at the bottom as I'd describe it and that is a very turn off for me thats why i'm rating this at 4 stars without that problem It be a solid 5 :)
