This eye-care extension enables night mode by creating dark themes for websites on the fly. Dark Reader inverts bright colours to make web pages high contrast and easier to read.
Adjust brightness, contrast, the sepia filter, font preferences. Enable dark mode on every web page or give websites a sepia tone. Enable or disable Dark Reader for specific websites, automatically sync with system dark mode, or detect already dark websites and leave them unchanged.
This is the original Dark Reader extension. Since 2014, we continuously evolve alongside modern web technologies to deliver fast and reliable dark mode support for people sensitive to bright light.

so far it works great. I avoided this extension cause it seemed a bit too fussy to set up, but it senses dark modes on sites automatically (most of the time) so I barely have to do anything. It even works on Google docs, so I don't need a separate addition. One weird thing; it seems to mute the audio on a local news site when I open it first.

Dark reader can be broken on some sites. Luckly there is a toggle on and off button for just that site. It also saves!
Been using it for many years and Dark Reader is simply the best option out there. It's super simple yet very customizable. Most of all, it renders almost every single web page well. The other options often screw up and black out navigation elements on websites or text that's important to read. Not Dark Reader. Darkens what it needs to without hiding any needed elements. Bravo.
please fix it. it take time to load please make it faster
Maybe I don't have the $9.99 to directly support the creators of this actually useful extension, however, I can review with a 5 stars after using this app around a year already. Amazing, easy to customize, great interface. I love it!
EL MEJOR HASTA EL MOMENTO🤩
This is a life saver for me, I don't know if this request is valid, but i want to have an extension which allows me to see the others persons screen presented on white mode also to be visible to me on dark mode. basically this has to happen while the call is happening.
