I've tested half a dozen dark mode themes. This is the best one, hands down. Went ahead and paid for the plugin, because these folks deserve it. Adding contrast, sepia tone, and grayscale options was the best decision by far. Thank you!

Worked great and is still quite a bit relevant. But from a few months, I was noticing something weird. Each time I opened a new page or just start the browser itself, the page was half black and sort of grayscale. I noticed that the extension was somehow turning itself on by default at startup and at the time of loading any page, so each time I had to refresh the page to look normal. This was happening when I had turned off the dark mode in the extension. Unfortunately this was bugging me quite a lot so had to turn off the extension completely. Hope they fix this soon as the shortcut to turn on dark mode on any site was quite handy for me.

Latest update seems to muck with the appearance of the scrollbar and makes it too dim to see. Even when I've got a custom stylesheet applied using Stylus, Dark Reader overrides it. I don't want this weird soft dark gray scrollbar on every site. And it enables the scrollbar on every scrollable element which messes with the layout on many of the websites I use. Otherwise this extension is generally good at making sites as high contrast as possible.
