Great extension. I have been using it for years on different browsers without issues. Easy to disable for certain sites or file types. People who are leaving negative reviews for the Google Search issues apparently didn't do a Google search - this is a fix for this and it is easily available online. This issue was, in fact, caused by a Chromium security update and not the extension. So it is wrong to berate the developers with disheartening reviews for a breakage that was caused by something out of their control. And no, you do not have to pay. No idea where this fallacious rumor came from. In fact, 99.9% of users do not even donate money to the developers - which is a shame.

Great extension. Works well w/ Brave. Occasional web site issues (PDFs look like a photo negative); rare but with the toggle on/off feature it's really good. Best of other plugins I've tried.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PAY. You can use 90% of the extension for free and it works permanently on all sites. I recommend the paid version for people who want more customizability or if you have knowledge of programming and want to make your own changes. But do not listen to these people, you can absolutely use the free version and get great results. You can also pay if you want to support them of course. I am not affiliated but simply someone who enjoys their eyeballs and uses my computer for work. I personally think this is easily the BEST dark mode extension because it is incredibly intuitive to use while also having nice customization incase of errors with certain websites. Settings: I find that Dynamic works for almost all websites but if for some reason you find a website that its not working properly, then i would change through all 4 settings before deciding any radical actions. If you're someone using software through a browser and want that to be dark mode then i would check out the premium features. This is just my honest review after 4 months or so, thanks for reading and i hope you all enjoy not having strained eyes!! Edit: If this is you---> "When writing emails, especially after a copy and paste, some words appear to be in different colors. (black -> light gray) Pop-up windows are still light mode. Some icons appear too dark." Then i would change through your settings and try the dynamic mode because i had the same thing happen but that setting fixed it right away. Go to the extension>More>Select Theme Generation Mode>Dynamic (or whichever one)
