Once the extension is installed, Office files that you drag into Chrome, open in Gmail, Google Drive and more will be opened in Docs, Sheets and Slides for viewing and editing.

You can save each file back to its original Office format or convert it to Docs, Sheets or Slides to unlock more features, like inviting others to edit with you, commenting, chatting and more.

Work well with local files/files on my VPS/files on Google Drive. Except Microsoft Powerpoint file on AWS. Anytime I open ppt file from AWS,it just got downloaded. Anyone know how to fix this?

CSVは対象外と書いてあるが，この拡張機能をONにするとダウンロードできないCSVファイルがある．例えば，このCSV https://catalog.data.metro.tokyo.lg.jp/dataset/t000010d0000000068 はDLできない. "開けません"と出てしまう．ただし，estatのCSV https://www.e-stat.go.jp/stat-search/files?page=1&layout=datalist&toukei=00200521&tstat=000001011777&cycle=0&tclass1=000001094741 はDLできる．早急に修正お願いします．

Hace poco me compré una pequeña chromebook que no soporta la Play Store porque necesitaba otra laptop para salir del paso. En lo personal, me encanta el concepto de estos portátiles pero venía con el handicap de que solo podía utilizar las aplicaciones de la chrome web store. Luego de probar esta extensión me pareció muy buena para sacarte de un apuro, eso sí, debería tener, al menos, las mismas herramientas básicas de edición de Google Docs online (para quienes necesitamos abrir archivos que no estén sincronizados en google drive). Espero sigan desarrollándola y la sigan actualizando porque se ve muy prometedora.

Works as advertised and looks pretty efficient, but the main feature I was looking for is CSV compatibility, as most of my "sheet" files come in this format. For that reason I'm probably using the inferior "Online Excel Viewer and Editor" or "StormFiles" extensions (that, for example, don't automatically parse a document opened at a new tab). Hope this feature comes soon so I can use this extension more!

I cant paste spreadsheets cells keeping the rows and columns. If I copy a range of cells in some spreadsheet whenever i paste it in another it does putting all selection copied in just on cell in destination. (sorry bad english)
