I do not think that the sites newsguard recommends have been thoroughly examined. when a website like like Vox and a site like Breitbart are not on the same level, it makes you wonder exactly what they could be missing on two blatantly biased news site that are guilty of misleading and spinning their own narratives.

Absolute garbage! After the blatant lies of Buzzfeednews that website still gets 9/9 green stars! While a more balanced outlet like Fox gets 6/9? Let's take CNN, the penultimate standard for fake news - 9/9 green stars even if they were caught multiple times fabricating and misreporting facts! Let's take a very independent news outlet DemocracyNow.org Gets 7/9 where one red flag is regularly corrects errors - WOW, CNN makes more errors in a day than any other news source. Townhall gets a red for deceptive headlights - HAHAHA and CNN's headlines are not deceptive or even overly biased? OMG, It's so true - you can only rely on your own research and not on ANY outlet ever - that's why the internet was made - LOOK for first hand videos and accounts and only then do believe what the news outlets tell you!

A poorly created extension that propagates lies and disinformation. It rates CNN with a full 9 out of 9 green stars. #1 on a weekly basis they publish false content. #2 Their content is not presented responsibly and cannot be since they are forced to maintain a cutting edge breaking news atmosphere at all times. They also pander to the countless drug companies that advertise on their platform. During the first Iraq war CNN was clearly seen using a blue/green screen while in studio to pretend scud missiles were landing all around them. This is deceptive to say the very least. 1 star rating and nothing more.

Very good idea and is something well needed, The UI and UEx is good. I do think that this is still biased or potentially just not recently updated for many news outlets that have proved time and time again to be biased and opinion based in their journalism. Generally gives green ticks to sites that do not have due diligence in their reporting.

This appears to have been created with the intent of pushing a political agenda and/or to sway the thoughts and opinions of those unwilling to seek out the truth for themselves. I personally follow details of cases in various courts and have seen the facts BLATANTLY misrepresented repeatedly by news agencies this addon claims to be Trustworthy; also I know of Trustworthy sources who have not misrepresented the facts of various cases that this addon claims to be NOT Trustworthy. This is clearly either a tool of the LEFT to push their agenda on the masses or it has been infiltrated by those on the LEFT and is no longer a reliable tool. Such a thing is ripe for abuse, if not today, surely one day; although I have seen enough proof to know it is flawed today.
