Not sure how something so revolutionary could have such a big oversight. Can't use any of the information cause one you click a link or anywhere out of the extension it closes and you lose everything. Clearly as the reviews show this is its only flaw, can't understand how they slipped up, hope they dont' fall behind, there are plenty eager to take their place.

It needs memory/persistence/local storage. Clicking on a citation link and losing the response is very frustrating. Besides that, it's one of the best implementations of an AI in Chrome so far, at the level of Edge with Bing AI. Feature Suggestions: - CRITICAL: memory/persistence/local storage. Maintain the response in memory with an erase button. - Use selected text to make a query with the toolbar button/contextual menu/keyboard shortcut. - A custom keyboard shortcut option to open Perplexity that reads selected text and makes a query automatically.

I want to like it but it doesn't work for me at all. I have to open perplexity in another tab, get past the screen that says "Checking if your connection is secure..." then the extension starts showing results. Unfortunately, it also makes my browser crash immediately afterwards when I try to close the extension popup. I'm on Vivaldi, maybe that's why it's not working properly :/

I recently used the Perplexity app and I must say, it is an excellent application for generating text. The AI-powered tool offers a wide range of prompts to choose from, and the results are simply amazing. However, I would like to suggest an improvement in the form of a drop-down menu of pre-set prompts. This would make the workflow smoother and more efficient since we won't have to keep copying and pasting the prompts we frequently use. It would be great to have the option to customize these prompts and save them for future use. Overall, Perplexity is an impressive app that has helped me save a lot of time in my writing projects. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a powerful and easy-to-use text generation tool.
