With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

Captured the first 20 minutes fine, but would go no further. Trying to play the video from further along gave me the audio only from the same first 20 minutes and no picture at all. Probably fine if your video is short, so long as you don't mind waiting an age for it to download.
Doesn't seem to work on YouTube anymore for clip/audio capture.

Magical Genius Extension takes bit getting used to but all info is on same page that pops up to record just read it a few times & try d-loading a video if not working change it's settings & retry then U will Amazed that it grabs video's from so many sites that are usually blocked or very hard to d-load from also see my Reply to Mammamia Pizzeria for advanced info cheers PS Thanks to HLS-Team✅😎👍
