With the Stream Recorder, you can easily save live and archived videos that are delivered in a typical HLS (m3u8) format.
Even more, if the video file type is in an mp4 format, you can record videos directly using the unique video capture function.
Downloaded audio and video data is converted to mp4 as it is with the same quality without re-encoding.
This conversion is done inside the extension, without the use of an external server.
Please note that Stream Recorder is not responsible for media content which you download, so we suggest to ensure the copyright and permissions of the media before downloading.

Not working any more with 1.3.1 Chrome 85+. Rolling back to 1.1.2 which works with Chrome 84 with no problem.

As a review blogger there are only a handful of sites I've been unable to snatch trailers from and this FINALLY solved that issue! Thank you.
This is an amazing extension. Thank you so much for your hard work developing it! Now if I could have one wish it would be to get a sound notification when a recording ends. This would make it great to double check the source when recording live video and go back into the stream and start recording again, as sometimes the recordings do stop. Regardless, thank you so much again. 5 stars!
Awesome💗downloads 99.5% of movies my other 8 D-Loader Apps can't, had to change google settings like allow Flash & automatic-d-loads background-sync etc. now works like a charm incl HD1080P
The only one that still works for saving HLS stream videos as of October 2020 ! Thanks!
私もニコニコ動画からHLSでダウンロードした動画の長さ(再生時間)がニコニコのプレイヤーに表示される再生時間と違っていて、ダウンロードした動画を再生してみたら所々音と画像が飛んで再生されました。ダウンロードしなおす度に微妙に違う長さとファイルサイズになり、毎回微妙に短いです。 最近気付いたのでいつからか分からないのですが、心当たりとしてはChromeのアップデートをつい先日しました。
Good extension but it would be GREAT if you could make it available so that it does NOT split recordings into separate videos, as it makes the video & audio go out of sync. It needs to record in 1 video NOT separate videos. This FEATURE NEEDS TO BE ADDED. remove the split video feature from reording & make it so it does 1 video. FIX THE OUT OF SYNC PROBLEM ON THE CATURE/RECORDING feature. Also this DOES NOT WORK ON YOUTUBE. Fix it, so it works on youtube.
