AI 产品解读Sales Cloud Everywhere - A Chrome extension that provides direct access to Salesforce CRM records, tasks, and engagement alerts within Gmail and Google Calendar
Eliminates the need for sales professionals to constantly switch between their email/calendar and Salesforce.com, allowing them to work on deals and update CRM records without leaving their current browser context
User installs extension and authenticates with their Salesforce account. As they browse Gmail or the web, the extension shows a side panel with Salesforce tasks, engagement alerts, and records. They can update CRM data, respond to leads, and manage tasks without navigating to Salesforce.com.

- Sales professionals and sales representatives / Salesforce Sales Cloud users / Sales teams using Gmail and Google Calendar
- The static analysis heuristic flagged 'subscription/subscribe' keywords as paid signals, but these are false positives related to push notification subscriptions, not monetization.
- Salesforce Sales Cloud pricing is not visible in the extension code but is a paid enterprise service - the extension itself is free.
- No login UI was found in the extension files examined - authentication likely occurs via redirects to Salesforce's OAuth flow.

The 'subscription' and 'subscribe' keywords found in the codebase are related to web push notification subscriptions (PushSubscription API, VAPID keys), NOT paid/monetization subscriptions. The extension itself does not contain payment processing, billing APIs, premium feature gating, or upgrade prompts. While Salesforce Sales Cloud itself is a paid enterprise SaaS product, the extension is a free client that connects to existing Salesforce accounts - the paid aspect is at the destination service level, not in the extension itself.

- The extension requires authentication to Salesforce's service via OAuth2. It uses refresh tokens, CSRF token exchange, and session management to connect to the user's Salesforce org. The code shows login URLs for various Salesforce environments (login.salesforce.com, test.salesforce.com, etc.) and an AUTH_PATH for authentication. Without a valid Salesforce account and authentication, the extension cannot function.
Edit: The update is working more consistently now for email logging. Thanks!
Real good application for Sales Service and business process management.
I'm a huge fan of everything Salesforce, even if some things are clunky and a bit old school sometimes, but please remove the new Salesforce sidebar integration. 🙏🙏🙏 Our sales team need to log their emails efficiently and effectively. I totally agree with many others that are having issues with this "new" salesforce/gmail extension. Please bring back the native gmail integration extension. This side-panel thing is not the answer. ☹️💔
Please bring back the native Gmail integration... I keep clicking on "maybe later" when it asks me if I want to try the Salesforce sidebar integration... and I'm willing to defer that forever. Your new integration isn't good... and it isn't helpful in my workflows. It actually makes things worse... my world would be better with your new new extension not installed AT ALL. If you truly do deprecate the current Gmail native integration I'm not going to use your new sidebar version... there's no utility for me and it makes my browsing experience terrible. I'll have to find some 3rd party Gmail extension... and they all suck. The integration you have now (the previous version) saves me so much time. In fact, if I didn't have it... I probably wouldn't log emails at all which completely defeats the purpose of why you have the ability to link emails to Salesforce records in the first place. And no, it doesn't work for me to send emails natively from within Saledforce. Please listen to your customers and change your mind on killing the native email integration. The new version is junk.
Doesn't work anymore. Doesn't open in gmail, or really do anything.
It's even more glitchy than before; Gmail emails are not copying to SalesForce. It temporarily worked when I cleared my cache and reinstalled the extension but now it's not working again.
I was using for months with no issues but since side bar removal started it doesn't keep log and now it doens't even login to SF from gmail extention. What's going on?
Echoing what others have said. This new update is atrocious. First off it requires you have the side bar open at all times. So using this on a small laptop screen is cramped. The previous version would automatically pop up a box and you just logged it right there. Now a box pops up but it doesn't do anything. It just opened the email you sent. It rarely actually finds the correct lead, opportunity, etc I want to associate the email with. And when it actually does if you choose it it won't allow you to save. I often have to either refresh the entire page or hit the button to put the side bar away and reopen so it refreshes just that window. Then it usually works. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries before it works. This doesn't even address the constant errors. I have to dismiss at least 2 errors every time I send an email. All in all, this new update is a MAJOR step back. Do not recommend.
*******SOLUTION TO URL ERROR ******* July 2025 Go to Chrome settings Clear "all time" cache/cookies (you can keep saved passwords) Restart Chrome, (Remove/reinstall the extension if it doesn't work)
The Gmail integration is really quite good, but why doesn't it work from mobile devices? It today's would, that's a MUST! JACK
