- If you don't like the extension turning numbers into Voice icon links, you can turn it off in the extension options.

It does work
It used to be great, however, now I can't text from the Chrome extension (Error: Try Again Later) and need to open my inbox. Otherwise, it seems to work fine. Please Fix!
Looks like Google is abandoning this software and NOT REPLACING IT. Like everything else, you see something you like and use it and then they decide "nope, you can't have it anymore".
worked fine for years, now all of a sudden there's this annoying little blip every 5 minutes or so when checking for new messages or calls? Very annoying.... don't want that and there's no option to turn that off. Removing it until it's updated to have an option to turn that off
Stopped working, needs an update

It's even more broken now than it was before. Awhile back they stopped allowing you to text via the extension. You have to go to your inbox. Now notifications are stuck. I've cleared the extension twice and restarted my browser and my computer. It still pops up with a notification that I've already read. I can't clear it and it's driving me nuts. It will clear temporarily and then come back up. So yeah, it's broken more than it already was. I guess it's time to uninstall it.
Like so many Google products, Chrome Google Voice Extension no longer works and is poorly supported by Google.
It stopped working on all my computers a few months ago and nothing i can do has made it work again. Dont download.
I used to love the Chrome add-on so I dont have to constantly look at my phone, or I can even survive without a phone. For the past few months I have been unable to SEND a GoogleVoice message utilizing the widget. I instead have to load the entire website and do it. The whole point was to quickly view and respond while doing your daily duties... with the reply part broken this isn't even a full produce. What happened? And do you plan to get it resolved??
