Ibotta: Price compare, cashback, item alerts

Helpful, yet annoying I mainly use this extension to remind me, and show me new offers, for my monthly Walmart grocery shopping (curbside pickup). I had already linked my Walmart account to my ibotta account before (it takes a while!). But on a lot of shopping sites it pops up with a big annoying box in the upper right hand corner showing deals. I'm sure I could probably change that, though. But when I minimize that box, it stick around as a smaller, but still somewhat larger, button thing in the middle of the right edge of the screen. Where that is a big problem is when you view larger images (like on a Walmart product page), and the navigation button is underneath. I've also had the big box pop back up while I've been on that screen, and had to refresh the page, because it wouldn't minimize, and I couldn't exit the image view because the X was under the box. It is helpful, because it shows me on most pages which products have rebates with a little frame that tells you how much it saves you. Though it doesn't show you when it's a deal you can use multiple times. But something is better than nothing. But it seems to be helping me save a little more, which is honestly the only reason it's still around. But if I realize it actually isn't helping (haven't seen rebates from Walmart come through yet, though it has just been one or 2 orders since I got my account linked. But I will be paying close attention to this next order!!) But ibotta as a whole, extension included, could really use some help being more browser friendly (less app dependent). I can't see anything about my account balance or history. Only able to add deals. Which is frustrating when my phone and tablet are old and have limited storage space. Especially in a world where a lot of us do curbside pickup where we can, so are doing more online ordering (still waiting for better support with more stores there too. Like my other main grocery store I order from every month, that is supported when you shop in store)

I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE EXTENSION!!!! I've been with Ibotta for awhile and have other apps I scan scan paper receipts on for points or cash and they accept them everywhere but as much as I love a bargain I never got to fully utilize Ibotta until I downloaded the extension and they allowed you to link your accounts. Before I would try and plan my shopping trip, picking out coupons and whatever but it never amounted to much or I got frustrated in store and didn't get everything. WIth the extension it's so much easier to view the deals and shop side by side. I do find a lot of items are out of stock and like others I had issues with the Thanksgiving promo through walmart but bc they were out of stock. I kept trying every day and finally got all the offerings. I just completed a pick-up grocery order with Walmart-I hate Walmart+ and had nothing but issues but I'll pick it up for free without membership thank you- and on my trip 2 days ago I earned $28.32!!! That's above average for me. I love you Ibotta and have recommended you to everyone I know. If I could ask ANYTHING, PLEASE ALLOW YOUR COUPON USE ON AMAZON FRESH/WHOLE FOODS AND AMAZON IN GENERAL. Other than that, no complaints here!

I love ibotta. The cashback for purchases is great, the little advisor popup letting me know that I can get cashback for the online purchase is great. That is money I saved for shopping normally that I didn't even know about before installing the app. It makes finding deals on items I normally buy very easy. The mobile app is too location dependent, it requires me to get on host store wifi or else it doesn't let me do the gift card checkout. I highly recommend the web browser extension and the mobile app.

I really like Ibotta. I have been with them for over 2 years and have made over $500 so far. I don't like the Amazon connections, but I honestly think that's Amazon fault. They take their time honoring the rebate cash back and make all kinds of rules about purchasing through Ibotta that it becomes tedious.

For a minutes, before or after shopping, a person can save money. It may only be a few dollars, but it adds up. Over the past 2 years 8 months, I have averaged $11 a month in savings. If I had put that in savings, I would have $360 in savings. Today, I saved $16.40 off my grocery bill. If it is on sale and I have a coupon I take advantage. Great for cash strapped families.
