The extension is really useful but also really buggy, making the UX garbage. They've finally added the option to toggle Crystal tab off in GMail, but it will reset the next time you launch Chrome. Beyond annoying!

New update in Jan 4, 2017 modifies the css on select2-container, which will ruin any webapp using the select2 plugin. You should use your own classes not modify other apps classes.

Shows up in FB but wont tell you anything about who you are connected to, friends etc.. Tried on LinkedIn results are somewhat usable? Software has a ways to go before I will pay for it

My facebook news feed doesn't even load anymore when this plugin is enabled. I love what it does for my gmail experience, but i very much wish I could limit it to only that page. It's heavy and unnecessary anywhere else.

I wanted to like this extension. It's a great idea but it's just not practical. It will slow your email experience down considerably. Since it's been installed, sending each email takes about 5- 10 seconds longer as your browser waits for Crystal to decide whether it "knows the person". It will pick random people too, which can lead to devastating results. So, if Crystal doesn't know the Scott you're emailing, it will just show the personality for any Scott. This is a terrible design decision and could lead you to send some questionable comments in an email which are actually inappropriate for the person you're emailing. It's slow, picks the wrong people and you have to continue to upgrade to see any detail about anyone. It's one of those things where, when you heard about it, you might have been like "Wow, cool tool!" but it doesn't work. Too bad :/

Often crazy accurate. Would be great if there was an option for light users wishing to have access to features and functionality of the basic communicator package.I can imagine some users will be performing a dozen or more lookups per day. That would equate to less than 10 cents per report, great value. But for those wishing to perform a similar number of lookups in a month or 3 month period there is no cost effective option. I estimate my usage would result in a cost of $3 per report which is simply not viable.
