Absolutely essential! Tab grouping rules are something that should be native, so important it is, same with saving groups. I'd love if it would sync across devices but it's not the world's end. What probably would be a good idea is to be able to "reorder grouping rules", and that they're processed in order (don't know how that works). Example: I have example.com in a generic group (which I'd drag to the bottom) and above, and first processed a rule to add example.com/api to the API group. Ideal when you have multiple projects in a domain. Thanks!!

Please add a way to reorder grouping rules. When you have overlapping grouping rules, their order is crucial to determine the final tab group, but when you can't reorder them - applying any changes to the configuration is a pain as you need to delete and recreate all the rules from scratch. As a workaround - you can export settings in JSON, modify rule IDs, so they represent the order you would like to achieve (e.g. "rule-1", "rule-2" etc.), and import them back.

It would be nice to support a shortcut to temporarily enable/disable this extension. Sometimes I need to view some tabs separately, If there is any event on the page, the auto-grouping feature will regroup the tabs that I have separated back into the group. It would be nice to be able to temporarily disable this extension.

Only just found it and I've been bitching about a number of session managers that don't recognise Chrome Tabs, but now I can automatically 'drop' each tab into a group... THANK YOU!!!

Great extension! A few suggestions for improving grouping rules: a. Add checkbox to apply rule only if tab does not already belong to a group. b. Allow "default group" rule where no other rule applies. c. allow auto-sorting group tabs based on url/title/regex-match (for example - groups holding lots of jira tickets)

Hi, great tool. Thnx. But saving a group adds it everytime to the overview of saved groups, so the sam group is listed several times, it is like a versioning (which could be helpful if you add the saving date) But it would be really great to have a override option, so it keeps just the last version in the overview of saved groups :-)
