📢 February 2026: Sorry, Chrome 145 has a bug that causes problems with tab group operations (collapse and modify title). This bug will be fixed in Chrome 146. This is a Chrome bug, not an extension bug. All browser extensions with similar functionality are affected.

In addition to general tab management functions, this extension specifically enhances the browser built-in "Tab Groups" feature.

Features:

● Automatically create group for tabs through custom matching rules.

● Save and restore current tabs or groups (snapshots).

● Opened tabs/groups management: activate, close, expand/collapse, move to other window, modify group name and color, new tab in group.

Très cool pour avoir une organisation dans les dizaines d'onglet ouvert. (attention peut rentrer en conflit avec d'autre extension du même type et avoir des disfonctionnement).

Doesn't appear to fully work in Vivaldi or Chromium on a Linux Mint install. You can right click and add tabs to a group, but creating rules doesn't work. The rules never appear to be applied. Something may have changed in the chromium base code cause it seems a number of folks are complaining that grouping isn't working properly - and that is also affecting some competing extension like Acid Tabs.

Awesome! But one suggestion: "Automatically group by domain name" is great but another option to group by domain and all its subdomains would be perfect for me. If this happens I come back to give you 5 stars ;)

The tabs often escape their group, it very annoying. You click a tab within a group, and it may suddenly jump out of the group and appear to the left of group label. I am looking for an alternative.

Excellent work. One issue: using the "Move current tab to the left (group unawareness)" shortcut, the moving tab will expand a collapsed group and be added to it ONLY if there is more than one tab in that group. In other words, it skips over collapsed tabs with only one tab in them. One request: please add a shortcut for "Duplicate tab". I know it's not specifically about groups, but would be neat.

This is what I've been looking for forever now! One caveat I am missing is for the tab rules, there's no explicit "exclude", sure regex would work but it has an explicit "includes"
