the regular bookmark manager in chrome does most of what this app does. sure, it locates duplicate bookmarks by sorting them by name, but you still have to remove every single one manually, so it's not adding any new functionality besides finding dead links, which also must be manually deleted one by one. it will also refuse to delete about half of the duplicates even once you select them individually, saying they are the last copy. if they are the last copy, then it's displaying a lot of false duplicates, and if not then it's just not working. it's basically pointless if it doesn't have more automatic functions, or a better sorting system. yes, it works as described, but the description is very misleading. i'm fine with it since it's free, but to find this as the top suggested bookmark cleanup tool seems pretty dumb. tbh, the main tool i wanted here was to sort by the last time i've accessed that bookmark and delete my old ones, but it has no such tool. this is basically a pointless app, and i'm convinced that the majority of 5 star reviews are from people who don't know how to use the regular bookmark manager. still, it does remove dead links, which chrome should be doing already, so it is an improvement. it just seems like more could be accomplished here.

何でも残しておきたい質なので、色々ブックマークした結果4000以上もあったそうで、その内重複したブクマは然程ありませんでしたが、一覧で表示されて重複した項目も選べるので、タイトルやフォルダを選択して削除できるので非常に便利です。 レビューしながら壊れたＵＲＬを検索しています。さすがに時間はかかりそうですが、エラーの詳細まで出るので信頼度は高そうです。ちなみに自動検索の際イーサネットはそれほど負荷はかかってないです。（過去のＵＲＬでサイト閉鎖などをして表示できないものは【https://web.archive.org/】で調べると見ることが出来るかもしれません。もし好きだったサイトやブログなどがあったら確認してから削除するとイイカモです。） 常駐してもらう必要は無いので、一通り必要な機能を使用したら一旦はアンインストールしますが、いずれまたお世話になると思います。開発した方ありがとう。

It's not perfect but it helps ensure you don't delete bookmarks you need ie. more than one bookmark in different folders. I suppose this is why there's no bulk (select all) delete option because with it, you might delete the bookmarks in the folder you want to keep and use frequently. The dead link works quite well. Again, not perfect. Many false positives detected when having it search for dead links. I randomly checked a few and they were valid working links but the extension thought they were 404 or not accessible. It's also a plus the extension is not abandoned.
