This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.

Permissions explained:

1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work

2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Very nice tool, but I removed it after using as it slows down my browser speed. Once I disabled it, the speed back to normal.

We had over 3,000 bookmarks, many the same from different sites. I cleaned it all up within 3 hours! Now, my computer will be lightening fast. My son taught me about this and I loved it! Great program!! Great son too!!

Pretty cool, the only thing it lacks if to an automatic tool to select all the duplicated bookmark, is easy to do it manually when you have fe bookmart, is hard in my case because i have a lot

This is good, but it would be perfect if the add-on could propose the automatic removing of the duplicates.

Sehr cool, erkennt sogar wenn ein Profil bei Soundcloud entfernt wurde, denn die Profil-URL wird ja weiterhin geladen.

Charming program. Used it and loved the duplicate and link checking functions. It would be cool to be able to remove all bookmarks older than XYZ months ago (or days ago). I made a small python program to do so (probably could be easily ported to whatever language you're currently using, probably wouldn't be that hard). Let me know if you're interested in the adding it to the sourcecode. I'm the type of guy that continually adds to their bookmarks, but never usually goes back. This allows me to keep my bookmarks trim, as usually if I care about the bookmark I use them within a month or two.

really good. i do wish that there were better bulk actions tho (or if they exist, for them to be discoverable). I ended up cleaning up my bookmarks manually, but nevertheless, it's done and i'm glad i found this extension
