This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.

Permissions explained:

1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work

2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

Non affidabile: trova duplicati, ma è presente solo il contatore dei gruppi, non dei segnalibri e mancano maggiori opzioni di selezione. Rimozione cartelle vuote efficace. Scanner broken urls efficace ed abbastanza veloce, il problema è che rileva in modo errato il numero totale dei segnalibri. Per i broken links consiglio l'estensione Bookmarks checker o il software free AM-DeadLink 6.0

Неудобно, что можно исключить папку из проверки, но нельзя отметить папки для проверки - когда их 100500, я бы хотел иметь проверять заданные папки.

works as adv. -add feature to auto select newest/oldest/keyword etc in each group of duplicates. -currently have to do all manually.

Works but basic. Counts the number of duplicate groups but not the number of duplicate bookmarks. "Remove Empty Folders" and "Merge Duplicate Folders" don't give a chance to pre-approve and don't say what they did other than a count. Must manually select the duplicates to delete. Need to be able to say "select all duplicates in this folder tree" and things like that, which are standard in file de-duplication programs.
