This extension allows to find and delete duplicate bookmarks, empty folders, merge folders with the same name (within the same path), find no longer working and expired bookmarks and remove them easily.
Permissions explained:
1. Read and change your bookmarks(required on install) - required for core functions to work
2. Read and change all your data on the websites you visit(optional, not asked until you use Broken URLs checker) – to check if bookmarked page loads and doesn't return any error.

better than the others
This extension takes 20 seconds to find my duplicates, then if I click on one (to check the box) that takes 5 seconds, and if I click on "select in this folder" it takes 15 seconds and CRASHES. I have not been able to remove any duplicates.
Other extensions seem to think every bookmark under the same domain are duplicates, this is the only one I've found that only marks exact URL matches as duplicates. Works great and efficiently.
This extension is very useful and works great, the extension also gives you the ability to choose which one of the duplicates you want to remove, all you do is check the one for removal and click and it is done fast and easy and you don't have to go through hundreds of links to find the duplicate.

Can only select all duplicates on a per folder basis. If you have many folders you need to scroll through the whole list and find each folder to select it. That's too much work so I uninstalled it instead and wrote this review.
