- The compiled AngularJS app (app_compiled-bundle.js at 5.5MB) is too large to fully inspect, but core workflow is well-documented through locale strings and HTML templates
- Analytics tracking to google-analytics.com is present but does not affect login or paid features assessment

This is a free Google utility tool with no payment, subscription, premium tier, or billing code. All 'pro' keyword matches are false positives hitting 'process', 'product', 'procedure' in localization strings (e.g., 'Select a product', 'recovery process'). The 'billed' match is a false positive hitting Danish 'afbrudt' (interrupted). No payment platforms, no upgrade UI, no license checks.

- The extension is a standalone local utility that uses Chrome's native APIs (chromeosInfoPrivate, imageWriterPrivate, fileSystem) to create recovery media. The workflow (select device → select target drive → write image) requires no authentication. All keyword matches for 'auth', 'session', 'token', 'userid' are false positives from Closure Library license text (AUTHORS), analytics session tracking, and autocomplete UI code tokens—not actual login flows.
Ottimo lavoro
Reste bloqué à l'étape 3 sans rien faire, cela devient énervant car j'ai tout essayé
Wont let me use local image which I am using it for
no funciona, no hace nada al intentar graban en pendrive
no ejecuta para descargar en pendrive
The year Microsoft stopped support of XP brought to mind Chromebook from a presentation long ago. I began my search and was pleased to discover that I could repurpose my desktop from Windows to Chromebook; I searched through the certified hardware list, picked a "close match", then created the bootable USB to install on my broken windows desktop and have been using it since, not realizing it was ChromeOS FLEX, but no worries since it performed great since the installation; the USB was created back then with no errors and is still usable; fast-forward to now and I only get errors attempting to create or simply erase a USB using the recovery tool; I don't know what happened from then to now; the USB shows to be read-only but using a windows box showed there was no partition; I bought another USB with the same result but I knew all the USB 's were undamaged. I also have a storebought Chromebook which I have the same results; I removed the extension from both then added back after many weeks, no no change in results, there is a related problem I discovered was the device names don't exist, I decided to shift focus to "dd" to create bootable USB and DVD but the "/dev" directory doesn't show the USB or CD, DVD devices which I need to use the "dd" tool; Nothing makes sense regarding the recovery tool; I prefer to use the recovery tool but will add "dd" when I discover the "/dev" mystery. I always first assume that I am the problem then comments and reviews reveal more about the issue.
