Update: The developer kindly explained a workaround for me and I am now a paid subscriber. :-) The voices on this extension are amazing. I have been using the free version but will likely upgrade to paid. I appreciate that the free version just has brief "voice breaks." I do want to note that I am using this to read content from a certification course and for some reason it doesn't work on the course pages. However, I just copy and paste the course text into a Google Doc and that works fine.
This app has been great, the free version is worth it, the paid even more.

I have been playing around with Lumo AI assistent as a Dungeon Master in D&D and been rolling my own dices. Readvox has really enhanced this experience for me. Works well with Brave browser
Outstanding performance while being used with the Brave browser. I tried the free version for a few days, and I was so impressed by it's consistent performance that paid for the yearly premium subscription. Needless to say, I'm very satisfied.

Works very well, very helpful for someone who has trouble seeing the words to read. Highlight the paragraph and hit play, so easy. The voices are nice.

I really enjoy this extension for reading text out loud. I have dyslexia and reading can be daunting from time to time. Finding this has been so helpful for college level reading. Yes, there is an ad here and there but it's tolerable. I plan on subscribing for premium for uninterrupted listening!
