Glad I saw and read these reviews before using Norton's PW Mgr. Sounds like an absolute nightmare. Who wants to put everything into a cloud vault you won't be able to access at any given moment. Per Norton, they can't access it either. And, it also sounds like Norton support is pretty much non-existent. My faith in Norton is dwindling. It's time to look for a better option.
Any suggestions how to fix the Chrome extension problem. Norton PW doesn't respond anymore, can't access my PW's anymore. Does anybody know what Norton is cooking at the moment and why they don't communicate with the users ?
Like the post from Marty Irwin, I am having the same problem of "accessing vault' in my password manager. I have not been able to open it since running the Norton Utilities Program yesterday. When I click on Access Vault, i am sent to the web browser address of "https://identitysafe.norton.com/csp_vaultaccess.html", which reveals nothing on the screen. It is stuck on that web address with nothing. How do I fix this. I can't get to my passwords. THIS IS VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The password manager extension quit working and now I'm having trouble trying to recover it. I use the Norton Browser and this is where the extension is suppose to be. It stopped working after I went through Norton Utilities Ultimate and cleaned up my computer. I must have done something wrong. This sucks.
The Chrome version of this app is GARBAGE, it takes forever to load, long time to acknowledge the mobile app's handshake and then inadvertently closes? crashes? when attempting to access website passwords. Very disappointing as Norton is usually my "go to" for all things internet security. Guess I'll delete Chrome and go back to Firefox...
Im not sure what has changed recently but the app takes a long time to load in chrome.
SONMETIMES IT CAN BE CONFUSING TO USE/
I can't get help in fixing PW manager. I will lose all my passwords if I try to reset the password. Seems no one at Norton will help, Just a horrible experience with Norton.
This issue with the password has been frustrating me too! I noticed that the PW manager on my phone worked just fine without updating the password. So, when I tried it on my PC, I saw a link that said "Already using on mobile device". Clicked it, scanned the QR code with my phone and it updated my PC browser. Hopefully I won't have this problem again and now I know how to fix it if I do. Other than this issue, I find the PW manager great.
What heck is going on in there? Fix the password extension access asap! This aint no "improvement"
