Configure shortcuts here: chrome://extensions/shortcuts It's a shame an extension is required to disable Ctrl+Shift+W, but at least this extension works well!

This works great. UX isn't easy to access, but just need to go to chrome://extensions/shortcuts in order to turn off specific shortcuts.

Fantastic, install, enable and go to: 'chrome://extensions/shortcuts' into the address bar to enter the shortcuts you want ignored - works for ctrl+P, ctrl+N etc. very happy with this, it should be a built in Chrome feature in my opinion. 👍

i just want to disable f11 and what ever brings up the console. 2 things that i will never use on purpose, and regularly seem to hit and it gets to the point of aggravating.... this extension does nothing to remedy this problem. also screw chrome for not giving you the ability to do this manually ffs...

Does not disable Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2. :( UPD: Now disabling works! There is the instruction: https://techswift.org/2020/11/03/how-to-disable-keyboard-shortcuts-in-google-chrome-firefox/ - do steps 2, 3, 4

Didn't work for Command-Option-F ("Command + Alt + F"). I mapped "Enter Full Screen" to Command-Option-F in System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > App Shortcuts > Google Chrome. Because that is way less RSI-inducing than Command-Control-F. But Chrome doesn't cooperate most of the time because it wants Command-Option-F to be 'search google via the address bar'. And I can't unset that via System Preferences by setting it to something else because it doesn't appear anywhere in Chrome's menu bar. And this extension doesn't seem to do the trick either. It won't even remember that I set Command-Option-F to "Do nothing" if I close and reopen chrome://extensions/shortcuts. I guess Google really really wants it to remain 'search google via the address bar' lol. Because they don't have enough money apparently.

Like Bob Smith, I needed to disable some key combinations so my webapp could use them. Unfortunately, it appears that the Ctrl+# shortcuts (e.g. Ctrl+1, Ctrl+2, etc. which are the most useless shortcuts I've ever seen, seriously, I have never EVER needed to jump to a specific numbered window, and for numbers greater than 1 or 2 it would take more time to count over to figure out which key to hit than it would be to just mouse over) do not get sent to my web app when they are disabled from their default function. So uh, nice extension I guess, but useless for me.
