When you control your time on distracting websites, you’ll find you have far more time to focus on the things that matter most.
To use Limit, simply enter the websites you find distracting and choose a daily time limit. For example, you could limit yourself to ten minutes a day on Facebook, or half an hour a day on Duolingo.
When you approach your limit, Limit gently notifies you your time is almost up, so you can wrap up. And when you've reached your limit, you'll be directed to Freedom's calming Green Screen when you try to visit a limited website.
- You can add or delete any website from the list of sites
- Your time limit for each site is configurable, from 5 to 500 minutes
- Limit comes pre-seeded with 10 distracting sites

This has a default limit for gmail, that's the only reason why I rated it a 2 star. Can you please add an option to disable it? Thank you
Would be much more useful were it not possible to extend a website's limit on the same day and the "Disable Limit" button was not a single button away, i.e. not available by just clicking the extension's button once.
This is great in the sense that it reminds you how much time you've been spending on sites you don't mean to spend so much time on. But I can't figure out how to change my settings, and I'm trying to do actual research and wasting so much time trying to figure out how to change the settings. Yes, I have googled it and clicked around and at this point am frustrated. So - you may count it as a plus that you can't change your settings easily - that way you can't easily adjust them if you're in the middle of binge watching netflix.....but right now I'm frustrated and trying to get work done! It should not be this difficult to change my settings. Cheers!
Really cool, i kind hate that i need help to keep me away from sites like reddit and youtube but this extension does the job wonderfully, some people already commented on a feature like an alarm on the last minute and that would be great.
Works great. Is there a way to resize or move the column. Some times it obstructs header part of websites.
Excellent extension! Would be great to be able to set weekly limits as well.
Still no warning about limits about to be reached. Also really wish there was a way to drag/reposition the timer on every site -- I want it displayed, but the upper right corner is like the worst place for it because so many site menus and things I need to click on go there. Bottom right would be better, but the best would be for me to be able to reposition it myself, or close it on a per-instance basis. Limit is also way too easy to turn off and disable, so it's only useful if you've already got decent will power and just need the reminder/nudge.
Its absolutely amazing!! This was the exact extension i hv been looking for!!
I hope I can add multiple websites together to limit the total time, because I can play on multiple websites, it's not helpful to limit a single website sometime
