The tool was very useful and worked fine initially. But does not even open lately to use it.
This tool worked well, initially, and was very useful. Of late it either does not work at all or I have to manually insert the details, which completely defeats the intended purpose of this tool. I used to be a big fan of Mendeley and this web importer was a big reason for it. After all the changes that have been implemented lately, I am not enjoying the application as much.
Initially, this tool worked very well, making adding references very easy and simple. However, regrettably, it has become quite a headache in recent years. More often than not, it refuses to open, causing significant frustration and inconvenience.

Funciona no chrome sim, é preciso autorizar o cookies de terceiros. Outra situação importante: Clicar na extensões do chrome, clicar nos 3 pontinhos no nome da extensão mendeley web importer, e colocar ver autorizações na web, vai abrir uma aba do próprio chrome, clicar em extensão (a esquerda no final), clicar em detalhes da extensão mendeley, depois por fim, autorizar que a extensão mendeley (Permitir acesso a URLs de ficheiro). Funciona! 10 de Dezembro de 2023.
This used to work great, but for the last few years, it seems to get worse and worse. The plug in doesn't respond when I want it to; despite telling it every time I open it that I have a private computer and would like to stay logged in, it asks for a password; it set a different email account to autofill, and despite my attempts to delete it, it has yet to be deleted permenantly; quite frequently it does not collect the correct information for my citations and I have to fill it in manually. I've been told Zotero doesn't have the same problems.
