When you install Scholar Reader, PDFs on all sites will have a new look in Chrome. To make this happen, Chrome will ask for permissions to read and change data on all sites. Scholar Reader makes no changes other than the presentation of PDFs.
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
• Read faster with the AI outline. Get a quick overview and click on interesting bullets to jump within the paper.
• Highlight and comment on PDFs. Highlights are saved to your Scholar library.
• Make it right for your eyes with light, dark, and night modes.
• Copy and paste common citation formats without leaving the paper.

As much as I want to like this tool, it makes copying and pasting stuff from within papers useless. I'm trying to copy the titles of some papers and I cannot. Disabling it and trying copying the titles works fine again.
Great, and I appreciate a uniform PDF experience in Chrome, however I would appreciate the ability to "save as" or change where PDFs were saved

This is a great tool. Could you please add support for Google Drive integration? It would be awesome to be able to open PDF files directly from Google Drive.

I finally found a plug-in that works really well with pdfs.Especially its night mode
Prático e mais dinâmico!
It needs a "right-click save as" to save a PDF, not HTML. I know it has a saving button, but saving individual PDF to a custom location is preferred without it interfering with regular downloads.
Great app, especially previewing references. Adding annotations support would give the fifth star! Other fancy nice-to-have features would be AI (gemini) search, summary or ability for Q&A within the pdf.
Please add a way to set the default view %! Very useful for academic reading!
