When you install Scholar Reader, PDFs on all sites will have a new look in Chrome. To make this happen, Chrome will ask for permissions to read and change data on all sites. Scholar Reader makes no changes other than the presentation of PDFs.
• Preview references as you read. Click the in-text citation to see a summary and find the PDF.
• Read faster with the AI outline. Get a quick overview and click on interesting bullets to jump within the paper.
• Highlight and comment on PDFs. Highlights are saved to your Scholar library.
• Make it right for your eyes with light, dark, and night modes.
• Copy and paste common citation formats without leaving the paper.

This extension is great!!! is it possible to export annotations/highlightings and outlines to zotero? Or just embed them in the pdf file if it's an local file? Thanks.

Overall, awesome features through built-in hyperlinks. 1. Please add in an annotation feature + save 2. Please give the user the option to open certain pdf documents with the default browser pdf reader Thanks for the awesome tool!

Could and should be an upgrade from the native Chrome PDF viewer. Keyword "should". But not quite. The native PDF viewer has "two-page view" which is very helpful and useful, this one for some reasons doesn't. I wonder how hard it really is to just "copy" or bring in that functionality into this extension.
Font rendering is much worse than in the standard Chrome PDF Viewer. Too bad... the features are really great, but with the slightly pixelated text (especially on small zoom levels compared to the Chrome PDF Viewer) it strains my eyes too much in the long run.
