*NOTE* Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Sorry about that!

*NOTE* Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. Really all it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. Don't be alarmed. Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data. Read the open source code if you're curious.

For more information about rebinding your keys and how to use many of Vimium's features, see here: https://github.com/philc/vimium/blob/master/README.md

I have been very pleased vimium for at least a year now. In particular, it has been extremely helpful in letting me easily navigate link-heavy sites like Outlook Web Access, through which I often get at my work email. However, a recent change has randomized the assignment of link shortcuts, which greatly reduces the utility of vimium. This means, for example, that as I move around through various pages in OWA, the major navigation links get different shortcuts on each different page. Vimium is still better than using the mouse for everything, but I can no longer memorize shortcuts and take advantage of muscle memory. Instead, I have to look carefully at the page each time to see what shortcut has been assigned this time around to the link I want. I'd very much like to see this change reverted (because personally I don't understand how anyone benefits from it), or at least an option to turn it off.

I love this plugin, but a recent update changed the characters used for link hints. The purpose of this plugin is to control websites with the keyboard, and key patterns become memorized for sites. I know that f-ds gets me to the activity stream of one website, so I don't have to think about it. Cold changing that is like plopping me down in front of a Dvorak keyboard and telling me good luck. Yes, I can look at the keys for reference, but it kills the productivity that I've grown accustomed to. There's nothing to be done about this now, but I'd advise strongly against forcing this sort of change in the future. It's unnecessarily jarring and can be solved with backward compatibility mode for upgrades. UPDATE: The author replied to my feedback without hours. Can't get better than that!

Well, so far i'm loving this extension, seriously, although i dont want to be too dependent on certain macros/plugins/extensions and so on, even in vim i use only 3-5 plugins usually. Again, great so far, maybe added "zz"/"zt"/"b" feature would be great, as well as switching tabs like "4gt" to the fourth tab; this does actually work sometimes, and sometimes it bugges completely around. keep it up!

抱歉只给1分,因为最近无论如何,每次开机后Vimium都无法运作,但是看插件明明是开着的……

Nice extension. But useless without support of non-latin keyboard layouts.
