*NOTE* Google does not allow Vimium to run on this Chrome Web Store page and the Chrome New Tab page, by design. Sorry about that!

*NOTE* Chrome has some alarmist messaging around the permissions that Vimium needs to run. Really all it's asking for is that Vimium's javascript be loaded into every page. Don't be alarmed. Vimium never talks to any servers and does absolutely nothing with your data. Read the open source code if you're curious.

For more information about rebinding your keys and how to use many of Vimium's features, see here: https://github.com/philc/vimium/blob/master/README.md

Modifier keys are specified as , , for ctrl+x, meta+x, and alt+x respectively.

Wow! This is excellent. I love keybindings, and staying fast and productive. I don't use vi much, but I really like the application of (largely unmodified) keybindings to my normal browsing. Thanks so much.

A fantastic extension which is similar in spirit to vimperator and pentadactyl for firefox. The main difference between those and this extension is that vimium doesn't have the bar at the bottom like you find in the actual vim, but I think this is better because it helps preserve chrome's minimal appearance.

My favourite extension in Chrome. I use it all the time. I would love to have a way to navigate between tabs (the same as bookmarks) for the times I use Chrome in fullscreen mode. That's the only feature that I would ask for. Thanks, Maikel

I am loving this extension. The only problem I have is the fact that I can't use it on the Gmail Page. This is probably not something that you can fix though. I would also love to be able to use this on chrome's new tab page, but now I am just nitpicking. I just love never having to leave the keyboard.

Beautiful! If only I could map the rest of my keyboard to clear history or chrome's task manager or open the options of a particular extension, etc.

I really like it but I had to disable on Google+ since j&k move from post to post. It would be excellent if I could use the Google+ specific functions but keep the rest of Vimium's features in tact.

One of the greatest extensions available for Google Chrome. It significantly increases surfing speed by freeing you from mouse usage.
