Tired of wasting time looking look through and re-sorting all of your notes on Google Keep?
With Category Tabs for Google Keep™, you can now sort your new and existing notes by category. Each category represents one color. Adding a note to a category is very easy, just change the color of the note. When you want to view the notes you have sorted by color, simply click on the note color you wish to view. If you would like to view your you entire collection of notes/checklists, there is an “All” option next to the color options (this option is set by default).
Category Tabs for Google Keep™ seamlessly integrates into the page and the options to look at your notes/checklists in list view or gird view is still available. The ability to post a quick note/list/picture is still available as well and is still placed in the same spot as it usually is. This application supports all the colors offered by Google Keep.
You can access the settings by opening the menu in google keep, and hit "Customize Categories"

I love it but I have a few issues. One, I had to look in reviews to find out how to change names of the colors. Two, the buttons for affecting multiple items are not active. When clicked on you activate the color bar button not the button you wanted. I have to use Keep on my phone or different desktop app like "Panel View for Keep" to make multiple item changes. Other wise I love it and I wish Google had this from the beginning because that how I was using it.

Doesn't work at all. I click "Install" and Chrome says it's added, but when I check the Settings menu there's nothing there but the standard menu.
Seems to work well, but like others have mentioned it covers up the buttons for affecting multiple items at once.

The only additional wish i would have is that we could rename the colors to something else. Other than that perfect.
This is excellent. What would be really good is if a matching label could be assigned to the note when the colour is selected. That would make it possible to filter by label when using the Chrome/Android/iOS apps.
Takes some time to load, but the app itself is convenient and power. Make managing Google Keep much easier.
Would be helpful if we could drag and drop notes between tabs.
