Tired of wasting time looking look through and re-sorting all of your notes on Google Keep?

With Category Tabs for Google Keep™, you can now sort your new and existing notes by category. Each category represents one color. Adding a note to a category is very easy, just change the color of the note. When you want to view the notes you have sorted by color, simply click on the note color you wish to view. If you would like to view your you entire collection of notes/checklists, there is an “All” option next to the color options (this option is set by default).

Category Tabs for Google Keep™ seamlessly integrates into the page and the options to look at your notes/checklists in list view or gird view is still available. The ability to post a quick note/list/picture is still available as well and is still placed in the same spot as it usually is. This application supports all the colors offered by Google Keep.

You can access the settings by opening the menu in google keep, and hit "Customize Categories"

可以只选择某个颜色的标签很方便，可是选中标签进行管理的时候，颜色选中挡住了标签管理的菜单

Update: Was working perfectly until Google recently added a big fat search bar at the top of the screen. While the search bar is certainly useful, it is much larger than it needs to be and has eliminated the possibility of Carlos' excellent 'Category Tabs for Google Keep' because there isn't any useable space for it. Update: Carlos has fixed the yellow and orange color problem and has added the same color to whichever tab you have open to the tab bar as well. For example: blue note open blue tab bar. This has great potential but has a problem. The colors Yellow and Orange do not work for me. I can change existing Notes to any other color except Orange and Yellow. I can also create new Notes in any available color except for those two colors. I'm using the latest versions of Chrome and Keep and I've uninstalled\reinstalled this extension but the problem is still there. If this can be fixed I would surely change my rating to 5 stars.

1) I do not care about colors, I only want my actual labels, as I don't want to have to search for the meaning of a color (no, really, I mean it, and I will never change my mind on that). 2) it works only on the full web view of Keep (no, I don't use it, really), and does not work if launched from the Google Chrome Apps tab.

OK, I LOVE being able to categorize the lists. I already liked Keep, but the categorization made me stop looking elsewhere. However... the yellow and orange "categories" don't work. Also, I'd LOVE to have this work on my android app and in the panel version of Keep.

Very nice idea! I used different colors for differente tasks even before i knew this existed, but now it helps me reminding the right categories even better!

Some colors work, some colors do not. Yellow notes are recognized as blue! Good idea, but poor implementation.
